Dr. Karina B. Salvo completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biology from University of South Florida in 1997, continuing her education towards a master's degree from Barry University in Biomedical Science. She then received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2005. In June of 2007, she completed a rotating Small Animal Medicine and Surgical Internship at NYC Veterinary Specialists and Cancer Treatment Center.
Her future career goals include becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Her professional interests include Emergency and Internal Medicine. Personal interests include photography, travel, and martial arts.
