For a Donation of just $25, Attendees Can Ensure a Lifetime of Security for their Pets.
As part of its continued commitment to community service, Central Veterinary Associates (CVA) staff members will once again offer a low-cost microchip clinic during the Mineola Street Fair, taking place along Jericho Turnpike on Sunday, October 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a donation of just $25, CVA veterinarians will help residents protect their pets with a Home Again microchip.
“The entire staff at Central Veterinary Associates is proud to offer this low-cost microchip clinic at this fun family event,” says Dr. John Charos, President/CEO, CVA. “We urge all pet owners to have their pets microchipped. There is nothing more heartbreaking than losing a pet when it runs away or is taken by someone else. By having your pet microchipped, you are ensuring your pet’s safety and also helping a worthwhile cause.”
Throughout the event, pet owners can stop by the CVA vendor table to ask the staff about their pet’s health and address any other concerns regarding their pet. In addition to the Home Again microchipping services offered at a reduced cost, each visitor will receive a coupon for a free visit and rabies vaccination services at CVA, as well as pet-friendly raffles and giveaways. Admission is free to this event, which is hosted by the Mineola Chamber of Commerce.
CVA keeps its hospital in Valley Stream open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, including all major holidays. For more information about CVA or to make an appointment, call 1 (888) 4CVA-PET (428-2738).
