Coverage of the Pellet Gun Shooting of a Federally and State-Protected Yellow-Crowned Night Heron

Dr. John Charos and Dr. Greg Nelson, Veterinarians from Central Veterinary Associates, joined Detective Bob Sowers from the Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals (SPCA) in a press conference on May 14 to address the incident in which a yellow-crowned night heron was shot and later transported to Central Vets.
