Dr. Frank DeFeis

Dr. Frank DeFeis has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years. After graduating from Ross University in 1990, he went on to intern at Oklahoma State and the University of Guelph in Ontario. As his latest areas of study are herbology and acupuncture, he is currently seeking a masters degree in Chinese Medicine at the Chi Institute in Florida. Besides holistic medicine, his other areas of interest are companion animal and internal medicine. Dr. DeFeis loves a challenge and he prefers cases which are complex and not straight forward or routine. He excels at caring for geriatric and hospice level patients. A long time member of the American Animal Hospital Association and the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. DeFeis is always interested in learning the latest trends in veterinary medicine so that he can improve the lives of his patients. His hobbies include fishing, boating, riding quads, and spending time with his family and their pets.
