Dr. Karen Liss graduated from Connecticut College with a B.A. in sociology in 1988. She then began courses at N.Y.U. in their post-baccalaureate premed program. Dr. Liss received her diploma of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 1994 after studying at Ross University in St. Kitts, and at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Liss has been working as an associate veterinarian at C.V.A. since her graduation.

Dr. Liss is married and the mother of one son. In addition to spending time with her family, Dr. Liss enjoys swimming, Broadway shows, traveling, and music. Dr. Liss grew up and attended grade school and high school in the Five Towns.
